Prosecutor: Hocking College Rape Allegation Under Investigation

NELSONVILLE — An allegation of rape on the campus of Hocking College is under investigation by the Athens County Prosecutor’s Office.
An incident report filed on Tuesday with the Hocking College Police Department alleges that a woman had been sexually assaulted. The report states that there were five males involved.
The report states that the woman — who Hocking College spokesman Mike Brown confirmed is a student at the college — went to an event at Ohio University where she saw someone she knew from high school. She then reportedly went to a party with the individual, where she “drank a lot.”
