Hyrnewich Wins MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week

The Mid-American Conference named its Women’s Golfer of the Week on Thursday, and Ohio’s Hailey Hrynewich hauled in the hardware.

The award comes after the junior golfer took fourth in the 2015 Redbird Invitational on Sunday and Monday. Her 72, 76 and 75 in three rounds gave her a total score of 223, which was seven over par.

The Bobcats finished fifth in the tournament.

Hrynewich and the ‘Cats will be back at it on Saturday and Sunday for the 2015 Mary Fossum Invitational in Lansing, Michigan.
