In this episode of “Conversations from Studio B”, join host Carolyn Lewis from the Athens City Commission on Disabilities as she invites guests Daniel Purdy, of the Office for Equal Opportunity and Accessibility, Christ Biester, artist-in-residence at Passion Works Studio, and Mark Cullison, Adult Services Director at PersonnelPlus, to discuss the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”.

Declared in 1992 by the United Nations, the day aims to promote awareness and mobilize support for critical issues relating to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society and development. The Day also works to promote action to raise awareness about disability issues and draw attention to the benefits of an inclusive and accessible society for all.
