Gas Prices on the Rise

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Gas prices around Ohio have continued to increase heading toward the Memorial Day weekend. Prices are up 14.1 cents per gallon since last week, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 5,345 gas outlets in the state.
The average price per gallon was $2.38 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. The average in Ohio six months ago was $1.81. This time last year it was $2.72.
