Day two of the Nelsonville Music Festival starred the likes of Columbus’ neo-funk outfit Mojoflo, Philadelphia-based R&B musician Son Little, French-Cuban musical duo Ibeyi, the newly resurrected Fruit Bats (read WOUB’s interview with the band’s creator Eric D. Johnson here), John Moreland, Hanba, a heart-swelling marriage proposal on the Porch Stage and an awful lot of cicadas; both the real thing and artistic renderings of everyone’s favorite loudest insect.
