Langhorne Slim & The Law With Aubrie Sellers To Perform at OUL Sept. 24

The Covered Bridge Music Series is pleased to present Langhorne Slim & The Law along with opening act, Aubrie Sellers starting at 7 p.m., Saturday September 24, 2016 at Ohio University Lancaster.

Headliner Langhorne Slim & The Law are currently on tour with the Lumineers and will join the Avett Brothers’ tour before coming to perform at Ohio University Lancaster. Their recent release The Spirit Moves is the follow-up to their previous album The Way We Move. If you haven’t seen what The Guardian called “one of the greatest live acts,” you won’t want to miss this opportunity.

Music will begin at 7:45 p.m. with up and coming Nashville artist, Aubrie Sellers. Daughter of singer-songwriters Lee Ann Womack and Jason Sellers, Aubrie released her debut album, New City Blues this year and was recently signed to Warner Brothers Music Nashville.

Tickets are available for $25 at www.coveredbridge.tix.com. Admission for Ohio University students is free with a valid, current OHIO (student) ID. All seating is general admission. Gates open at 7 p.m. with hospitality featuring a cash bar, beverages and food trucks.

The Covered Bridge Music Series is a joint venture between Ohio University Lancaster Campus and The Lancaster Festival.  The purpose of the partnership is to showcase fresh and relevant musical talent providing discovery and enjoyment for the campus and Fairfield County communities and the region. The concerts generally take place twice a year (spring and fall) on the Lancaster Campus of Ohio University
