Peer Advocacy was once a program where students could be trained to become survivor advocates. These advocates would talk to survivors, take them to get medical care, help them find resources, and even help through the legal process if they wished. They were taught to love survivors, believe survivors, and support survivors.

The removal of Peer Advocacy from the Survivor Advocacy Program here at Ohio University is impacting LGBT Survivors all over campus.
