Senior outside hitter/libero Mallory Salis was named Mid-American Conference East Offensive Player of the Week for Ohio University following a pair of victories this past weekend.

Salis led the Bobcats over the weekend with a career high 22 kills in their first game against East Division rival Kent State on Thursday. On Saturday, she matched her career high once again with 22 more kills in their come-from-behind victory against Eastern Michigan. She also ended up leading the team with an attacking percentage of .305.

Along with that, Salis placed second on the squad in digs last weekend, totaling 32 and averaging 3.56 per set. She achieved a double-double for Ohio on Thursday night in their win over Kent State, also adding on three assists and two service aces.

The team is hoping to carry the momentum into this Friday, when Salis and the Bobcats hit the road in a conference matchup against Toledo.
