Authorities Arrest Ohio Man On Abduction, Rape Charges

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Authorities say a man charged with kidnapping and raping a 16-year-old girl in central Ohio over the summer has been arrested.
U.S. Marshals say 21-year-old Samuel Sharifi of Westerville was taken into custody without incident last week. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Delaware County Common Pleas Court. No attorney is listed for him in court records.
Sharifi has been indicted on charges stemming from a June attack in which authorities say he abducted and raped a teen girl in Westerville.
