Ohio is headed to the Carolinas for the third consecutive weekend.

The Bobcats will be competing in the Raleigh Relays hosted by N.C. State this Friday and Saturday. This meet will be the most competitive event Ohio has been apart of during its young season. It is an invitational in which only 20 athletes were selected.

The Bobcats are coming off strong showings in the past two meets, which included placing third and eighth at the UNC-Wilmington Seahawk Invitational and Bob Davidson Kick-Off, respectively.

Over 50 universities will be present, including five Mid-American Conference teams (Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Northern Illinois and Toledo). The event will test where Ohio sits in comparison to their conference foes.

The relays begin tomorrow at 9:45 a.m. Following this weekend, Ohio will have its lone home event this season as they host the Cherry Blossom Invitational on April 1.
