WOUB Public Media and the Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs have collaborated on a new interview series called “Making an Impact.” It is part of a campus –wide celebration of Ohio University’s new President Duane Nellis and his investiture.
WOUB Director and Berman Professor of Communication Tom Hodson has conducted six interviews with faculty and executives-in-residence at the Voinovich School focusing on the daily themes of investiture week, Oct. 16-21.
Hodson and the interviewees discuss cutting-edge research and applied impacts that students, faculty and staff are making on campus, in the region, throughout the state and beyond.
“We want to highlight the applied nature of the Voinovich School and its impact both on the university and the much larger Southeastern Ohio region,” Hodson says. The Voinovich School currently is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Each 30 minute interview will be posted on the websites of WOUB Public Media and the Voinovich School. Five minute segments will be aired at approximately 7:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on WOUB’s regional FM stations. They also will be available on demand on NPR One.
Both WOUB and Voinovich will utilize a range of social media outlets to share the content of these interviews.
