CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) – The 2017 West Virginia Governor’s Mansion holiday ornament has been unveiled. First lady Cathy Justice and state artist Amanda Buckner introduced the ornament Wednesday in Charleston.

The limited-edition ornament is in the shape of West Virginia and is made of white opalescent glass. It features three green holly leaves and three red holly berries and has a hand-etched gold star where the state Capitol is located.

The state Division of Culture and History provided funding support for the ornament. The ornament sells for $37 and is available at the state Culture Center’s museum shop in Charleston and at Tamarack in Beckley.

A portion of each sale will be donated to a foundation to help preserve the mansion for future generations.
