The Radcliff campus of McKendree University is partnering with a local distillery to offer a business class centered around the bourbon industry.

Students will be able to learn about the business and financial sides of bourbon, while also learning about the distilling process.

The class is a partnership with the Hardin County-based Boundary Oak Distillery, which
produces moonshine, bourbon, and other whiskey products.

Daryl Hancock is the executive director of the Kentucky campuses of McKendree University.

“Both Boundary Oak and McKendree University are local business there in Radcliff, and we saw it as a great opportunity to partner together to offer something to the local community that was tied to the one of the biggest industries in that part of Kentucky,” Hancock said.

The class takes place this Friday through Sunday.

McKendree University is based in Illinois and also has a campus in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
