PBS Nominated for 44 News & Documentary Emmys®

PBS programs received 44 nominations for the 39th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards, the most earned by any organization. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees on Thursday, July 26, 2018. The awards honor programming distributed during the 2017 calendar year.

PBS programs receiving multiple nominations include FRONTLINE (14), INDEPENDENT LENS (8), NATURE (6) and POV (6). A complete list of PBS nominations is below.

The News & Documentary Emmy® Awards will be presented on Monday, October 1, 2018 during a ceremony at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located in the Time Warner Center in New York City. To see the full list of nominees, please click here.

In addition to those nominated, the NATAS will honor NOVA’s Senior Executive Producer, Paula Apsell, with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
