Earlier this month, Morgantown, West Virginia’s Charles Wesley Godwin released his solo debut, Seneca. The album is an achingly intimate portrait of life in Appalachia — from the region’s deeply characteristic landscape to the rich sense of family that is a celebrated part of Appalachian culture.
