Cameron Kelly Loses, Ohio Wrestling Out of NCAA Championships< < Back to
It was a quick Day 2 of the NCAA Championships for Ohio Wrestling. Cameron Kelly was the lone Bobcat to make it to Session 3. However, the 141-pounder fell to 12th seed Tristan Moran (Wisconsin) in the second round of consolations.
Within the first minute, Kelly and Moran scrambled to get a takedown. Within the scramble, Moran caught Kelly in a cradle. Kelly was unable to get out and Moran pinned him in 46 seconds.
This was Kelly’s last match for Ohio. He finishes his career as a 3-time NCAA qualifier.
