ABC Players Present “39 Steps” May 2-5 at Stuart’s Opera House
< < Back to abc-players-present-39-steps-may-2-5-at-stuarts-opera-houseOne of Broadway’s longest running comedies will be performed at Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville this May. The 39 Steps is a whodunit mashup of a Hitchcock movie, a spy novel and Monty Python. This fast paced comedic spy mystery incorporates over 150 characters performed by eight ABC actors who often change roles on stage with just the switch of a hat or dialect.
Director Celeste Parsons and two of the actors, Nathan Becker as the dashing lead Richard Hannay and ABC veteran Joe Balding playing several characters came to WOUB’s Studio B for a conversation with Robin Barnes.
