Unofficial Primary Election Results from Jefferson County

Unofficial results are in for Jefferson County after 13.73% of voters showed up to the ballots on Tuesday’s Primary Election Day.
Steven Rebich, Ronald Holmes and Glenn Dickinson received democratic nominations for the Member of Council at Large in Toronto. Rebich received 152 votes, Holmes received 145, Dickinson received 141 and J. David Core only received 91.
Wells Township voted down two local issues. A 3-mills additional Police Protection issue was shot down by 51.45% of voters, while 52.32% of voters rejected an additional general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges issue.
