Two More Wanted on Charges Related to Athens Co. Drug Ring in Custody
< < Back toATHENS, Ohio – Two wanted Athens County residents have been arrested on charges related to their alleged involvement in a local drug ring.
Natalie Hoffman, 32, and George Cloud III, 34, both of Chauncey, were arrested Thursday on warrants related to indictments earlier this month for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and possessing criminal tools. Both charges are felonies.
The Athens County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate the pair at a residence on North Peach Ridge Road based on a tip provided to the Athens County Prosecutor’s Office.
Hoffman and Cloud both appeared before Judge Patrick J. Lang Thursday. Hoffman was granted a release on recognizance bond and Cloud was placed on a bond in the amount of $50,000. A trial date for both suspects is scheduled for November 5.
Brian Thompson, 42, of Athens, is still at-large, wanted on charges related to the alleged drug operation.
These suspects were previously arraigned in the Athens County Court of Common Pleas for the same charges:
Paul Curry, 39, of The Plains, was released on own recognizance on August 23.
Kasandra Curry, 28, of Carbonhill, was granted a $250,000 bond on August 23.
Eric Barron, 29, of Nelsonville, was placed on a $50,000 bond on August 22, and is currently incarcerated at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
Gina Sufronko, 31, of Nelsonville, was placed on a $100,000 bond on August 22, and is currently incarcerated at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
Nicholas Nelson, 30, of Logan, was arraigned on August 21, and placed on a $75,000 bond, and is currently incarcerated at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
Kimberly Young, 29, of Nelsonville, was placed on a $75,000 bond on August 21, and is currently incarcerated at the Southern Ohio Regional Jail.
These suspects have been arrested, but have arraignments scheduled in the future:
Chase Malloy, 29, of Athens
Earl Mckee Jr., 25, of Trimble
Ryan Lowe, 39, of Nelsonville
Bradford Hawk V, 28, of Athens
Jimmy Stepp, 36, of Guysville
