On Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, Arts West will showcase a print sale of work by the Ohio University School of Art & Design printmakers. Proceeds of the sale, which will feature work by students and faculty, will go back into the printmaking program, which is currently ranked as the #10 printmaking school in the country by U.S. News.

On the same day, an exhibition featuring work from Ohio University’s MFA students, as well as students from Kent State University and the Ohio State University will open after an artist talk by Knoxville-based contemporary artist and printmaker Althea Murphy-Price.

A plant sale will be taking place simultaneously in Art West’s downstairs lobby.

WOUB spoke to two of the Ohio University School of Art & Design students, Belle-Pilar Fleming and Connor Furr, about the upcoming event in the interview embedded above.
