Athens Co. Municipal Court Re-Schedules In-Person Hearings

ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — The Athens County Municipal Court is rescheduling all in-person hearings until May 1 or later, according to a post on the court web page, as a precaution to the coronavirus pandemic.
Hearings that can be resolved remotely will take place via video or teleconferencing.
People awaiting hearings should contact their attorney for further information. Those without an attorney should contact the court at 740-592-3328.
People under probation conditions should contact their probation officer.
Those who need to pay fines or costs may pay online, via phone at 740-249-2108, or by mailing a check to Athens County Municipal Court, 8 E. Washington St., Athens, Ohio, 45701.
