Morgan County Primary 2020 Results For Contested Races
< < Back toMORGAN COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — Nearly every registered Republican (99.5%) participated in this virus-extended election compared to 66.28% of Morgan County’s registered Democrats.
Richard Welsh pulled through a crowded field of Republicans to win a seat on the county commission. His 1,520 votes beat Mary Woodward’s 665, Becky Thompson’s 571, and Jan Snouffer’s 335 votes.
John Wells’ 1,992 votes defeated fellow Republican Michael Lowe’s 1156 for the Morgan County Common Pleas Court Judge position.
Four levies and one electric aggregation measure were approved.
