Fairfield Co. Unofficial Results For May 2021 Primary

ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — A total of 9.5% of voters in Fairfield County turned out for Tuesday’s Primary Election to cast ballots on a variety of issues.
Becky Tenner secured a little more than 71% of the vote to receive the Republican nomination for Lancaster City County Ward 6 over Pete Sanderell, 118-47.
The Fairfield County Historical Parks District tax levy renewal passed, 6,904-3,410, in the only countywide issue.
Voters approved the Madison Township 2.5 mills EMS service tax levy renewal, 52-28.
The Pickerington Local Schools District $95 million band/2.9 mills tax levy was shot down with 3,688 voting against and 2,357 voting for.
Voters in Walnut Township renewed the local schools 1.4 mills tax levy by a narrow margin, 252-236.
The Berne Union Local Schools District 2% income tax renewal was approved, 383-185. The Berne Union LSD includes a part of Hocking County, but all voting and tabulation was conducted in Fairfield County.
