Bloom-Carroll Continues To Thrive Thanks To Solid Defense
< < Back toCARROLL, Ohio (WOUB) – Bloom-Carroll’s defense was the backbone of their state-playoff run last year, and if their home opener is any indication, the Bulldogs defense will once again be a force to be reckoned with.
The Bulldogs held the Jonathan Alder offense to 151 yards and only 3 points.
Running back Chase Plantz lead the Bulldogs offense with 130 rushing yards on 11 attempts, while Quarterback KJ Benedict had 97 passing yards with both a passing and rushing touchdown.
Bloom-Carroll (3-0) will host Circleville (2-1) next week.
Jonathan Alder (0-3) will travel to Springfield to take on the winless Northwestern Warriors.
