WOUB Provides National Hispanic Heritage Month Podcast Opportunity for OU Student Ethan Sargeant

Earlier this year, Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and Honors Tutorial College sophomore Ethan Sargeant was challenged by his Honors Tutorial College advisor, WOUB’s Student Professional Development and Production Services Director Michael Rodriguez, to craft a podcast that wasn’t centered solely on Sargeant’s lifelong passion for sports.
Rodriguez suggested Sargeant develop a podcast that would in some manner discuss National Hispanic Heritage Month, which started September 15 and will come to a close on Wednesday, October 15 this year. Sargeant has done just that, and he took the time to talk to WOUB Culture about the project and its impact on him in the feature embedded above.
