The Fairfield County District Library and the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio have come together to provide a new way for library patrons to experience the exhibitions at the Decorative Arts Center. Saturday, December 11 will mark the first special tour at the Decorative Arts Center for library patrons provided for free. This particular tour will be of the museum’s “A Victorian Christmas” exhibition, led by one of the display’s curators, Dr. George Johnson.

Ben Claymier, the Adult Services Programming Director at the Fairfield County District Library, told WOUB Culture about how he sees this new collaboration between the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio and the library fitting into both organization’s missions within the community they serve in the audio feature embedded above.

The Saturday, December 11 tour of the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio’s “A Victorian Christmas” will commence at noon, and registration is required for attendance. Register for the event online at fcdlibrary.org.
