Meigs boys’ chases their first conference title in 34 years with talented ’21-’22 squad
< < Back toAfter finishing third in the TVC-Ohio last season, the Meigs Marauders return to the hardwood in hopes of winning the conference for the first time since 1987.
“I’m very confident in this ball club,” head coach Jeremy Hill said. “I’m confident in the things that if we do them and execute correctly, the sky is the limit.”
Meigs return most of their starters from last season. A key returner for the Marauders is star senior guard, Coulter Cleland.
After being named the Tri-Valley Conference Player of the Year for football, Cleland rejoined the basketball team with the hopes of helping the team reach their goals.
Cleland also joined the 1,000 point club during the teams 80-76 victory over the Belpre Golden Eagles.
The Marauders look to win the league as well as make a trip to the Convocation Center this season.
