Eastern Lady Eagles strive to take their young squad all the way in ’21-’22 campaign
< < Back to eastern-lady-eagles-strive-to-take-their-young-squad-all-the-way-in-21-22-campaignAfter finishing last season 6-16 and placing sixth in the TVC-Hocking, the Eastern Eagles are looking to bounce back.
The Eagles come into this season having graduated three starters and have a roster of no seniors.
“We are still a little bit on the young side,” head coach Jay Reynolds said. “We are still building to where we want to be and we are getting some wins along the way so hopefully we get to where we want to be by tournament time.”
With no seniors, the leadership role falls on the juniors of the team.
One of the key juniors of Eastern is Erica Durst, who seems to be the focal point to the offense.
The chemistry within this team as well as the support from the boy’s team are two major factors that contribute to the Eagles success.
