The Federal Hocking Lady Lancers finished the season with just three wins all year. This was head coach Amos Cottrill’s first year at the helm for the Lancers. This was also the first year for many coaches in the Lady Lancer program.

Cottrill says, “We started with a whole new coaching staff from seventh through twelve (grade). We’re all running the same plays, same offenses, same defenses.”

Cottrill hopes that this continuity in the program from the bottom up will help with the incoming class of freshman. This year their eight-grade team won the TVC hocking title with a win over Athens on February 16.

That young group along with freshman starter and team captain Larissa McDaniel look to lead the Lancers to greener pastures in the upcoming years.
