Here are the unofficial 2022 primary election results for Tuscarawas County

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Tuscarawas County.

Kristin Zemis will be the Republican candidate for Tuscarawas County Commissioner in November. She won the primary with 4,213 votes compared with 2,501 votes for her opponent, Sally Storad.

Zemis will face Democrat Laurie Green, who ran unopposed in the primary.

Voters in the Strasburg-Franklin School District approved a 4.7 mills emergency property tax renewal by a vote of 365 to 282.

In the Tuscarawas Valley School District, voters approved a 2.6 mills emergency property tax renewal by a vote of 828 to 684.

A 0.5 mill property tax renewal for Joint Union Cemetery was approved by a vote of 576 to 189.
