This free event is being hosted by Ohio’s PBS stations as part of the Ohio Learns 360 project.

ATHENS, OH – Ready for an adventure? WOUB Public Media is co-presenting a virtual field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. The field trip is perfect for families, children at home, after-school programs and other care providers.

This field trip will be hosted by the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s education department and include a behind-the-scenes look at the museum’s operations, exhibits and more. Called 100 Years of Discovery: Science Inside the Cleveland Museum of Natural History is designed to help children, especially those in underserved communities, visit a national landmark right here in Ohio. The program is being presented by all of Ohio’s PBS stations as part of the Ohio Learns 360 project.

Ohio Learns 360, which aims to reach kindergarten through fifth-grade students from underserved communities, kicked off this spring and continues through September of 2024. The Ohio Department of Education is providing $5,000,000 in funding through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), first authorized by Congress in 2020.
