MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Meigs County.

Republican Zachary B. Manuel earned a position as County Commissioner, with 70.12% of the vote. Runner-up James E. Keesee earned 29.88% of the vote.

Voters in Meigs County approved a Meigs County Senior Citizens Services-Proposed Tax Levy – Renewal – 1.6 mills/5 years by a vote of 5181 to 2158.

Voters in Meigs County approved a Meigs County Public Library Tax Levy Renewal – 1 mills/5 years by a vote of 5100 to 2240

Voters in Columbia Township approved a Replacement- Proposed Tax Levy – 1.2mills/5 years by a vote of 319 to180.

Voters in Middleport Village approved a Replacement Tax Levy – 1 mills/5 years by a vote of 357 to 145.

Voters in Middleport Village approved a Renewal Tax Levy – 3 mills/5 years by a vote of 329 to 168

Voters in Pomeroy Village approved a Renewal Fire Protection Tax Levy – 1 mills/5 years by a vote of 230 to 94.

Voters in Pomeroy Village approved a – Renewal Current Expenses Tax Levy – 1.9 mills/ 5 years by a vote of 181 to 140.
