Celebrate “Cartober” with WOUB this October

Donate your vehicle to support WOUB

ATHENS, OH – October is “Cartober.” During this special month, you can donate a vehicle to support WOUB. Donating is free and easy.

“By donating a car to WOUB, you can help keep quality programming on the air. Each vehicle donation helps us to provide creative, informative, and engaging programming to viewers locally,” said WOUB General Manager Mark Brewer.

You can donate a car, truck, van, motorcycle, boat or an RV. We accept most vehicles in almost any condition and from nearly any location. The process is easy. First, you call or start your donation online. Then you schedule your free and convenient pick up. Once your vehicle has been sold, you’ll be sent a receipt for your tax records, and the sale proceeds will be donated to WOUB in your name. You will also receive a one-year membership to WOUB Public Media!
