Here are the unofficial 2024 primary election results for Washington County

ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — A total of 31.41% of registered voters in Washington County cast ballots in Tuesday’s primary, according to unofficial election results.

In the Republican primary race for Washington County Sheriff, Mark A. Warden will likely be in an uncontested race in November after defeating his opponent Ronald Gregory Nohe. Warden received 5,450 votes while Nohe received 5,429 votes.

Voters in the Belpre City School District rejected a renewal of tax levy for emergency requirements for the district by a vote of 997 against the levy to 934 for the levy.

In Watertown Township, voters approved a fire apparatus levy 296 to 161.

Voters rejected the renewal of a tax levy for emergency requirements for the Warren Local Schools District by a vote of 2,133 to 1,382.
