VCNB hosts free ‘Back 2 School Bash’

MCARTHUR, Ohio – Vinton County National Bank will host a free Back 2 School Bash for local kids and families on Saturday, August 3. The event will feature inflatables, lunch, goody bags for kids, a visit from Saver Squirrel, and more. There will be hot dogs, popcorn, slushies, and entertainment by the Mark Wood Fun Show.
Non-profit organizations in Vinton County are invited to set up tables to distribute information, provided they offer something fun and free for school-aged kids.
Heather Boothe, Branch Manager of the McArthur branch, explained that VCNB is organizing the event to offer kids and families a fun and free way to enjoy the last weekend of summer.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the grassy lot next to the bank’s Depot Drive-Thru in McArthur. Updates and more information can be found on the Vinton County National Bank Facebook page.
