Wendy McVicker performs Saturday with Emily Prince at 11:30 a.m. as a part of the Athens Community Art and Music Festival on the stage in front of The Union (18 West Union Street).

Additionally, McVicker and Cathy Cultice Lentes will be reading new work and work from their book, Stronger When We Touch, as featured readers for Words & Wine, at Athens Uncorked (14 Station Street) on August 14, preceded by Athens’ own poet laureate-hosted open mic, at 6:30 p.m. Books will be available for sale and signing by the authors.
