After two successful seasons with the Eagles, Jackson returns boasting a 21-and-5 record. Jackson and the Eagles also hosted the first home playoff game in Meigs County history along with a Regional Finals appearance, falling just short of a title to Caldwell in last season’s finale.
Moving into the 2024 season the Eagles have shifted up in the division rankings, moving from Division 7, up to Division 6.
The Eagles will open the 2024 season on the road this year against the River Valley Raiders, following that with a home stand hosting the Wirt County Tigers, South Gallia Rebels, and Hannan Wildcats.
With the loss of Division 7 Defensive Player of the Year Brandon Oldaker and star Running Back Riley Barrett, who contributed a career 3000 rushing yards, the Eagles now look to new talent to carry the banner.
Up and coming sophomores Treyvon Rembert and Blaise Gilmore are looking to make an impact early and will be names to look out for as the Eagles begin their 2024 campaign.
They will travel to River Valley for their first game of the season.
