LANCASTER, Ohio (WOUB) – The weather today was not quite what you want on a game day due to the rain but that didn’t affect the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs as they went on to dominate on the ground. The Falcons had no way to get anything going on most drives due to the pressure from the Bulldogs’ defense. The Bulldogs would dominate the Falcons 35-0.

The game began with the Falcons going 3 and out. Ethan Thanthanavong and the offense took off starting with a few runs and one pass in a 7-play drive. This drive was capped off by a 31-yard touchdown by Jude Blair to set the score 7-0 Bulldogs.

The Fairfield Union Falcons could not get anything going on their drives due to the pressure from the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs defensive line. The Bulldogs’ defense was dominant tonight and a big factor in tonight’s win. The Bulldogs got a lot of penalties but with the help from the defense they never had to worry.

The game would go back and forth with punts for a few possessions. Then the Bulldogs got the ball, and this time they are ready to go to work with a great field position. They got some short gains then Ethan Thanthanavong dropped back and slung the ball 15 yards in the end zone for Lunden Dodds for another score to put the Bulldogs up 14-0.

The Falcons could not gain any yards on the ground and the passing game was very inefficient due to the weather before the game. All their drives ended in a punt, or a failed 4th down attempt.

The Bulldogs got on the board again with a punt return by Beau Sherman from the other side of the field to gain a 21-0 lead. This was not the last time Bulldogs would get on the board as they would score two more touchdowns to round out the game.

The Falcons could not stop the pressure of the Bulldogs defense and could not stop Ethan Thanthanavong and the offense as the Bulldogs had an electric game on both sides of the ball.
