Radio Free Athens (RFA) is broadcast Saturdays on WOUB 1340 AM and allows community volunteers and Ohio University students to present music and interview content through a format-free, host-driven program. 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Excursions: Jazz Motifs w/ Art Cromwell: Record Store Day Premieres!!!

April 18 Excursions presents an evening of premieres for “Record Store Day,” as part of Jazz Appreciation Month. The program presents first ever heard historic live recordings from Chicago’s legendary Jazz Gallery: Pianists Ahmad Jamal, Mal Waldron, tenors Yusef Lateef, and Joe Henderson all take the stage. A few “lagniappe” presentations will also be offered.

Excursions 6-9:00 p.m. EDT, which concludes Radio Free Athens broadcast day on WOUB, Ohio University public radio.
