Here are the unofficial 2026 Primary Election results for Ross County
< < Back toROSS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 19.8% of registered voters in Ross County cast ballots in the 2026 May Primary Election.
Voters in Chillicothe voted down a 0.2% percent municipal income tax by a vote of 1,914 to 1,728.
A proposed 0.75% income tax for the Chillicothe City School District was rejected in a 1,858 to 1,797 vote.
Voters in Paxton Township approved a 1.4 mills current expenses renewal levy by a vote of 118 to 84.
Voters in Green Township approved a 1.5 mills fire and EMS renewal levy by a vote of 424 to 342. A 1 mill fire and EMS renewal levy was also approved, by a vote of 448 to 318.
And a fire and EMS additional levy of 2.95 mills for Scioto Township was approved by a vote of 326 to 304.
