Here are the unofficial 2026 Primary Election results for Scioto County

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 22.04% of registered voters in Scioto County cast ballots in the 2026 May Primary Election.

In the race to be the Republican’s nominee for County Auditor, Christopher Blackburn earned 2,274 votes, Annetta Newman earned 1,815 votes, Matt Seifert earned 1,273 votes and Mark Ward earned 1,025 votes.

In the race to be the Republican’s nominee for a County Commissioner term that begins Jan. 1, Steven Mault earned 2,744 votes, Yvonne Hale earned 2,262 votes and Nate Hoover earned 1,454 votes.

In the race to be the Republican’s nominee for a County Commissioner term that begins Jan. 2, Merit Smith earned 3,579 votes. Adrian Harrison earned 2,789 votes.

Voters in the county approved a Senior Citizens Levy – Renewal (0.2 mill/5 years) by a vote of 5,431 to 3,790.

Voters in Bush Creek Township approved a Roads and Bridges Levy (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 90 to 63.

Voters in Green Township voted down a Fire Services Levy – Additional (2.25 mills/continuing) by a vote of 353-266.

Voters in Rarden Township approved a Cemetery Levy – Renewal (2 mills/3 years) by a vote of 64-49.

Voters in Washington Township approved an EMS Levy – Renewal (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 422-294.

Voters there also voted down a Police Services Levy – Additional (3 mills/5 years) by a vote of 381-339.
