Here are the unofficial 2026 Primary Election results for Belmont County

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 27.18% of registered voters in Belmont County cast ballots in the 2026 May Primary Election.
In the race to be the Republican’s nominee for County Auditor, Josh Meyer earned 3,658 votes, Cindi Henry earned 3,177 votes and John Ferrelli earned 901 votes.
In the race to be the Republican’s nominee for County Commissioner, Dominic DeFelice earned 3,438 votes, David Schafer earned 3,231 votes and Chuck Probst earned 1,225 votes.
Voters in the City of Martis Ferry approved a Police Levy – Renewal (5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 572 to 176.
Voters living in the EORTA service area in Belmont County approved a Levy Renewal (2.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 1,671 to 898.
Voters in the Memorial Park District approved a Pool, Park and Playground Levy – Renewal (0.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 1,467-898.
Voters in Shadyside Village voted down a Current Expenses Levy – Additional (1.35 mills/5 years) by a vote of 416-358.
Union Local School District voters in Belmont County approved a levy by a vote of 1,157 to 1,130.
