Ohio Softball Head Coach Jenna Hall leaves for Illinois

ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — Ohio Softball Head Coach Jenna Hall has accepted the Head Coach position at Illinois.
Hall spent four seasons in Athens, finishing with a 138-82 record. She was also named conference Coach of the Year twice.

Hall is an alumnus of the University of Illinois. During her tenure there, she set a program record of a .481 batting average for a single season. She also broke multiple program records that have since been broken, including batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, home runs, walks, RBIs, walks and total bases. She was inducted into the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.
Before becoming Head Coach at Ohio, Hall also spent time as an assistant coach at Ohio State and Pittsburgh.
