A body found in Gallia County has been identified as a missing man

ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — The human remains that were found in a wooded area of Gallia County earlier this week have been identified as a man who had been missing since last month.
Zachary Cline had been missing Since June 17 when he was last seen on Shoestring Ridge Rd. in Gallipolis.
His remains were found in a wooded area along Raccoon Rd., in what authorities described as close to Cline’s last known location.
The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office in a press release Friday said the investigation into what happened remains active and additional details will be released “at the appropriate time.”
