Men Indicted For String Of Copper Thefts

Two Lawrence County men are now facing charges for copper thefts.
A Lawrence County grand jury has indicted Brian Bloomfield, 34, and Randy DePriest Jr., 30, both of Pedro, in connection with stealing copper phone wire.
Bloomfield is facing 30 charges, and DePriest is charged with 31 counts.
Investigators say they stole the wire from rural areas and sold it at scrap yards, and the two men are responsible for more than a dozen thefts in the last several months.
