Wahama Out To Finish What It Couldn’t Last Year

When you take a look at the TVC-Hocking, you will see a lot of small schools where football means the world to them. For these communities, Friday’s are all about high school football and watching their teams play.
Unfortunately for the majority of the conference, it’s very hard for any of their teams to make a deep run into the state playoffs.
This is true for all the schools in the conference except for Wahama. The White Falcons come into this year as defending state runner-ups in West Virginia in 2010 and look to go just as far this year.
The scary thing when you take a look inside the numbers is that Wahama might actually be better this year than they were last year.
The White Falcons have started their 2011 season by winning their first four games in dominating fashion. Wahama is averaging 59 points per game and has already scored 60 points in a game three times.
At the same time, their defense has also been up to the challenge only allowing 25 points so far the entire season (8.33 points per game).
Wahama is much more aggressive than the rest of the teams in the TVC-Hocking and has been rolling over the rest of their competition. The White Falcons toughest regular season game last year was against Trimble in a week one 14-6 win. This year when the two squads faced to open the season, Wahama rolled in dominating fashion 47-22.
Wahama’s schedule is set up well for them to continue to succeed this year. They don’t have too many challenges in front of them and should finish with another great season.
West Virginia teams better watch out come state playoff time because Wahama will be ready and this time, they want to win it all.
