Three Headed To Prison: Two For Domestic Violence, One For Burglary

Two convicted felons are going to prison as a result of previous domestic violence convictions in Athens County and a third is heading to prison for burglary.
Joshua Wooten, 28, of Glouster, will be serving a four year and 11 month sentence as a result of two domestic violence convictions in December of 2010. He was previously given judicial release after serving 30 days in December 2010 but his community control was revoked after a May 2013 Athens County Municipal Court conviction for disorderly conduct.
Neil E. Filous, 35, of Cleveland also will be going to prison for one year for two domestic violence convictions in October 2012. He originally was placed on community control but violated the terms by continuing to have contact with the victim, according to Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn.
Courtney Ryan Daily, 22, of Albany, will be serving 36 months in prison for one count of theft and one of burglary. She entered a person’s home and stole a Dell laptop computer, Blackburn said.
Her three year sentence will begin after she is released from her current incarceration for an offense in Meigs County.
