Police Release Names Of Victims In Head-On Collision

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released the names of two people seriously injured in a head-on crash Wednesday on Ohio Route 7 in Meigs County.
Aaron Brooks, 24, of Chester, OH, was driving south on Route 7 when he went left of the center line and struck a northbound pickup truck head-on.
Diana S. Brewer, 59, of Pomeroy, the driver of the pickup truck, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was listed in critical condition.
Brooks also suffered injuries and was taken by ambulance to Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg where he was listed in fair condition.
The crash happened about 10 a.m. near Eastern High School.
The roadway was closed about an hour after the crash.
The case is still under investigation.
