Two Men Killed After Thanksgiving Argument
< < Back to two-men-killed-after-thanksgiving-argumentHEATH, Ohio (AP) — A sheriff says two men were fatally shot as they argued at a home in central Ohio on Thanksgiving Day.
Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp says the shooting was reported about 4 p.m. Thursday inside a home just outside of Heath in Licking Township.
Thorp said witnesses report there was a struggle between two men. Both died of gunshot wounds. The sheriff says only one weapon was found at the scene.
The sheriff says one of the men lived at the home and the other was a friend or acquaintance who had come to the residence. Thorp says a Thanksgiving meal was being prepared and there were at least three or four people in the home at the time.
The sheriff says it wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the argument.
