Tri-Valley Rolls Over John Glenn

The game was scoreless at the end of the first quarter, but then Scotties showed how they can score with ease. Matt Amicone kicked a 32-yard field goal to get things started, which got the Scotties rolling. Austin Jones ran it in from the 3-yard line for the first touchdown. On the next drive, Nathan Strock threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Logan Wisecarver for his only catch of the game, which made the score 17-0.
Tri-Valley’s defense played strongly for the rest of the way, holding John Glenn to only 53 total yards and seven points. John Glenn finished with Joey Ferguson going 2 for 10 and throwing for 17 yards with no touchdowns. The Scotties finished with 342 total yards and 39 points. Blake Atkins ran 12 times for 37 yards and Josh Thomas added 11 yards on 10 carries. Nathan Strock had 175 yards passing, going 11 for 20 with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Matt Amicone added 60 yards receiving on five catches to go with his field goal.
